1. Long day pattern:
The basic pattern is long day pattern. In this pattern, the high and low prices are near the open and close prices.
In bullish pattern, the high price is nearer to closing price and the low price is nearer to opening price.
In bearish pattern, the high price is nearer to opening price and the low price is nearer to closing price.
Here the terms bullish and bearish denotes the upmove and downmove respectively.
2. Piercing line:
This bullish pattern will occurs in the downtrend when a red body is followed by a green body as shown in figure. The green body should be opened below the red body and should be closed halfway above the red body.
3. Bullish engulfing:
As the name implies this pattern is a strong bullish pattern. This stick will occurs after a downtrend. We can identify this pattern when a small red body is engulfed by a large green body. The pattern is shown below.
4. Long legged doji:
When the open and close price are same, the resulting pattern is called as Toji. This shows the indecision of buyers and sellers. If the opening and closing prices are at the center of stick, then this pattern is called as Long legged toji.
